GE Lightspeed 16 Maintenance Training

5-Day Course

Description:

GE Lightspeed 16 system course is designed to provide the individual with the knowledge on the Lightspeed 16 CT System to perform service repair, routine maintenance, and calibration procedures.

Qualifications for Admission:

Students must have a working understanding of state-of-art electronics, be familiar with the use of test equipment, and have a strong x-ray background. Prior CT experience would be a great asset.

Educational Objectives:

  • Become familiar with the operation of the system
  • Identify and explain all major components of the system
  • Navigate the System's Service manuals & CDs
  • Perform LFC (load from cold)
  • Review Error Logs for the isolation of system failures
  • Perform X-ray Tube change with system alignments and calibrations
  • Review image quality
  • Perform system PM procedures
