5-Day COURSE
Course:
This course is an entry level program designed to prepare a new hire for on-the-job training and early productivity in the servicing of OEC 9800 Mobile C-Arm systems.
Qualifications for Admission:
The candidate must have a working understanding of state-of-art electronics, test equipment and mechanics. Previous experience on X-ray apparatus and/or computer systems is an asset but not required.
Required Tools:
Laptop computer with compact disk drive and serial port (USB or 9-pin D connector)

Summary:
Upon completion of this course the engineer will be familiar with the OEC 9800 Mobile C-Arm systems’ major components, basic operation, and safety precautions. In an extensive lab environment, the engineer will gain an understanding of basic maintenance and calibrations procedures. The engineer will be equipped to address basic electronic and mechanical failures as well as perform all preventive maintenance procedures on the 9800 system.
Optional Tools:
Upon completion, the student may consider an arc interface cable for his laptop and c-arm (OEC part number, 00-901559-01).
