GE ADVANTX Complete Training

2-Week COURSE

Course:
The GE ADVANTX system course is designed for X-ray service engineers. Course covers functional checks, calibration procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and routine maintenance as prescribed by the original manufacture. The course is conducted with an experienced instructor, a staged and fully functional R&F Advantx, the original manufacturer's documentation, and a criterion reference manual.


Qualifications for Admission:
Students should have prior X-ray service experience, preferably with GE generators. They should have a minimum of a two - year degree in electronics or equivalent experience. Strong microprocessor skills are an advantage.


Required Tools:
Laptop computer with compact disk drive and serial port (USB or 9-pin D connector)

Summary:
Upon Completion of the Advantx course, the engineer should be able to provide service and use troubleshooting skills to isolate a problem to the board level. Hands on labs will give the engineer experience with routine maintenance, calibrations, documentation, and typical service events. Engineer will be confident and prepared for full service coverage.
